Qualifications of
Tendering
The following must be submitted

Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation
2.
Copy of current Tax compliance certificate
3.
Certified copy of Certificate of Registration
with Ministry of Roads
4.
Copy of VAT registration certificate
5.
Certified copy of Registration with National
Construction Authority
Other Requirements
Contractors must also submit sufficient information in the
following areas to enable the client evaluate their suitability:-
A)
Relevance experience in road maintenance and
construction
B)
Equipment holding with proof
C)
Professional and Technical personnel
D)
Turnover and liquid assets supported by Audited
accounts for the last two years
E)
Litigation history
F)
Duly filled confidential business questionnaire
A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by
interested bidders from County Treasury, formerly Gusii County, Block A upon payment
of a non-refundable fee of Sh1000 per set of tender document payable to Kisii
County Government, KCB, Kisii Branch A/C NO 1140758519
Prices quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes and must be
expressed in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for a period of 90 days
from the closing date of the tender.
Mandatory pre-tender site visits will be held as indicated
above beginning 9 a.m. starting from former Gusii County Council grounds.
Completed tender documents shall be enclosed ion plain sealed
envelopes, clearly marked with the road name and tender number addressed to the
undersigned and/or be deposited in the tender box located at County Treasury so
as to be received on or before 21/10/14 at 10 a.m. Opening of bids will take
place immediately thereafter at the County Treasury – Block A conference Hall
in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
