B. INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

EOI NAME: PURCHASE OF LAND FOR SPEAKER/CLERK RESIDENCE TO BARINGO COUNTY ASSEMBLY
EOI documents can be obtained from Procurement Office, Baringo County Assembly upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Sh1,000 (US$11.21) payable in cash at the cash office located on the ground floor of the Baringo County Government offices (Along the Hospital Road) or in form of a banker's cheque in favour of "Baringo County Government".
The land should meet the following requirements:
- Size is between 0.4 Ha (1 acre) and 0.8 Ha (1.5 acres)
- Be in a suitable area served with utilities like electricity, water, good road access etc
- Has clean title or certificates of lease duly registered in the bidders name
- Free from disputes, court orders, caveats, court injunctions or any other inhibitions
- Current Official certificate of search
- Deed Plan
- Survey Plan or registry index map
- The land should be within a radius of 10Km from Kabarnet town
- Must not have any encumbrance or illegal settlers
- Proof of clearance payment of rates/rents

Or drop in the tender box on the Lower Ground Floor of the Baringo County Assembly Offices along Kabarnet - Eldoret road, opposite KCB Bank or sent by post to the above address no later than 12 noon, 14th October, 2014.
Late applications will be returned unopened.
The County Assembly of Baringo reserves the right to reject any tender without giving any reasons for the rejection and is not bound to accept the lowest tender.
